07:45–09:15 — Hotel pickup. An air-conditioned vehicle collects you from your accommodation and drives to the departure pier, inside a working fishing village in the south of Koh Samui. Your exact time depends on where you stay.

09:15–09:45 — Speedboat departure. Safety briefing, life jackets for everyone on board, then the crossing towards the Khanom coastline on the Thai mainland, roughly 25–30 minutes depending on sea conditions.

Pancake Rock. The boat slows alongside the eroded, flat-layered sea cliff that gives the formation its name — the best photo stop of the trip.

Pink dolphin search. The captain cruises the zone where Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins are seen most often, keeping a respectful distance and letting the animals decide how close they come.

Koh Tan — snorkeling. Around 20 minutes from the dolphin zone, the boat anchors at the reef off Koh Tan. Mask and snorkel are provided and the crew stays in the water area with the group.

Koh Madsum / Pig Island — beach time. A short hop to the white sand beach where the island's pigs roam freely. Time to swim, walk the beach and take photos. The 50 THB island fee is already included in your tour price.

Return run. About 20 minutes back towards Samui, passing rugged rock formations along the coast.

13:20–13:40 — Back at the pier and Thai lunch. A traditional Thai lunch is served near the departure pier, then the vehicle takes you back to your hotel.

Expect a full morning on the water with three genuinely different stops rather than one long boat ride. The mainland leg is about scenery and wildlife — the Pancake Rock cliff and the search for pink dolphins, which are wild and free-swimming. The island leg is active: you get in the water at Koh Tan's reef, then spend beach time on Koh Madsum with the pigs. Between stops the boat covers open water, so the ride can be bouncy on a windy day. The pace suits families, mixed-age groups and anyone who wants to see more than one thing in a half-day, and you are back at your hotel with the afternoon still ahead of you.
